The Inman Aligner

Best for When

  • Speed and discretion are important
  • You’d like to straighten your front teeth
  • You need minor smile improvements and adjustments

Not everyone needs a straightening treatment that works on all teeth. You may prefer to focus on a few problem front teeth that let down the rest of your smile. Until recently, options for treatment were expensive and relied on destructive methods like crowns or veneers.

This all changed with the arrival of the revolutionary Inman Aligner.

This discrete, cost-effective aligner works by straightening the visible front teeth. And because the Inman Aligner doesn’t treat every single tooth, it’s far more efficient than many other aligners - working much faster at a fraction of the cost.

How it Works

Front and Centre Straightening

The Inman Aligner uses a unique approach to straightening the visible front teeth. A pair of spring-loaded bars exert gentle straightening pressure to the front and back of teeth, effectively squeezing them into a more natural position.

Inman Aligner Advantages

Fast Treatment Time

The Inman Aligner can straighten teeth in as little as four weeks depending on the amount of tooth movement required.

Affordable

Because your ClearSmile dentist is free to focus on the treatment of just a few teeth, the Inman Aligner is one of our most cost-effective treatments.

Kinder Treatment

Until the arrival of the Inman Aligner, the most popular treatments for front teeth alignment were destructive veneers and crowns.

Discretion Assured

Inman Aligners use a discreet design that prevents the appliance from drawing attention during treatment.

Your Inman Aligner Treatment

  • Everything about your Inman Aligner treatment is designed to be as easy and convenient as possible.
  • Start by arranging a consultation to talk to an IAS-trained dentists about the Inman Aligner. Your dentist will tell you everything you need to know before you go ahead, and can also advise on potential alternatives.
  • Your ClearSmile dentist will then take an impression or scan of your teeth to make sure your Inman Aligner is an exact fit.
  • At a follow-up appointment, your dentist may need to smooth some teeth to make the aligner more comfortable before fitting for the first time. Don’t worry - it’s a completely painless process! Once that’s done, you’ll be given your Inman Aligner, along with instruction and tips for taking care of it during treatment.
  • You’ll need to return to the clinic fortnightly so your dentist can make any necessary adjustments to keep your treatment on track. The process usually takes 4-16 weeks, after which you’ll be fitted with an invisible, permanent retainer to keep the teeth in place for good.
